 D&V Electronics of Toronto, Canada designs and manufactures test equipment for the testing of HV/EV motors and inverters/controllers, as well as alternators and starters. From endurance/durability to performance/laboratory to automated end-of-line production testing, D&V is providing leading edge testers for the automotive industry worldwide. 

 
D&V’s alternator and starter testers are proven state of the art machines sold throughout the world to Tier One manufacturers including Remy, Bosch, Valeo and Denso. State of the art component testers include testers for: starter solenoids, alternator voltage regulators, rectifiers, diodes and batteries. Special testers include: starter endurance testers with engine simulator, starter and alternator laboratory & endurance testers with thermal chambers. 
 
D&V’s beginnings as a supplier to the alternator and starter remanufacturing industry have resulted in our leading the industry as we continue to develop new products for this industry worldwide. D&V is now producing its newest tester, the JBT-1, a desktop alternator and starter tester with BSS and LIN capabilities for warehouses, distributors and small remanufacturers 
 
The D&V EPT test stands are based on 14 years of automotive testing innovation and research, with our goal of providing the HV/EV industry with the best products ahead of the curve. By leveraging our long standing e-motor testing experience with strong electrical engineering expertise, D&V develops products to meet emerging test requirements and provides more cost effective integrated test systems for the rapidly expanding hybrid and EV markets. 
 
Recent projects include inverter durability testers for a state of the art, triple-output inverter. This system included 3 motors with loads on each, thermal chambers and 5 channel liquid cooling to allow full simulation of vehicle drive cycles. These testers are being used to provide the longest and most severe drive schedules used currently in the industry.
