Rahnmet began manufacturing crusher parts in the late 1930’s and, for a period of 20 years beginning in the 1960’s, it manufactured exclusively for the original equipment manufacturers (OEM).
Since the 1980’s, Rahnmet has expanded and modernized several times adding vertical centrifugal casting and melting capacity to its foundry while expanding its manufacturing capacity to include a 16’ diameter vertical boring mill.
Rahnmet’s repair facility, attached to the machine shop, incorporates fully and semi-automatic welding equipment, a stress relieving oven (able to handle a 7’ Symons main frame or an 84” Topshell) and a 1200 ton press all under one roof.
Rahnmet’s production facilities and technical database enable it to supply parts for all the popular crushers and maintain Rahnmet’s uncompromising commitment to quality.
