HINTON PULP
The Hinton Pulp mill in Alberta, Canada, started production in 1957 and has the capacity to produce around 250,000 tonnes of unbleached kraft pulp (UKP) per annum. Mondi acquired the mill in 2023 and has plans to invest in the facility to improve productivity and sustainability performance, including expanding with a new kraft paper machine. This acquisition allows Mondi to secure a long-term supply of high-quality kraft paper into its network of paper bags plants in the region.
