FOOTHILLS SYSTEMS

The Foothills pipeline system transports natural gas produced in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin to markets in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and the United States. The system consists of approximately 1,060 km of operating pipelines and various auxiliary infrastructure. It began operations in 1981 and receives natural gas from interconnect points with other transmission systems.
